Curious to see where pricing lands. Probably too soon for me to upgrade, but magneride is intriguing. I probably wouldn’t replace mine with another Ecoboost if the power is similar.

Magnetic ride is really nice. You could probably just wait until they’re released and grab the suspension bits used, though.

I doubt it’s that simple with magneride.

Today’s CAN BUS controls basically makes the old parts-swap-upgrades of days past obsolete.

Knew it. The very lower body-colored part needs to be black.

It’s meant to mimic the GT’s fascia I think

I can definitely see that.

Looks much better in the rendering. The real thing is much less effective.
I really dont think the new fascia is as cohesive with the rest of the surfacing/styling as the ‘15-17 model.
Some of the graphics seem really forced and a little over the top. Also, I hope you are able to spec it without the rear spoiler. One of my favorite visual elements is the subtle upkicked line on the edge of the trunklid...the spoiler takes a lot of the subtlety away.
Overall, the whole refresh seems forced. Adding a bunch of hard lines and intersecting surfaces doesnt add up to a well balanced design.
Just one designer’s perspective (and ‘16 mustang owner..), anyways.

Yea in the renderings you can see the intent but it didn’t transfer to reality as nice.
IIRC in the video I watched the spoiler only comes on performance packaged cars.
But funny you say that, both of my roommates that work at Ford don’t think its an improvement either.

I believe it. I have a few buddies and former classmates that are stylists or creative modelers at Ford, and every one ive talked to agrees. Not sure if i know anyone who worked on this directly (not sure I would want to put it out there how much I dislike it, since the car design world is small, and you never know who your next boss will be!).

Ha okay, you’re on the other side. Figured it was worth asking since my roommates, most of my friends/coworkers and myself went to CCS. I’m sure its like that over there.
